catching up

My classes are done, we had the last event for one of my clubs tonight, my last college dance show is over, the last gathering for my other club is tomorrow, and I just have two papers to finish up...it's a bittersweet, I have loved college, but I'm ready for this part of my life to be done. For the next three weeks, I'll be spending my fabulous free time with my favorite people (including a trip home for mother's day and my sister's return and lots of senior week festivities) and my only committed time will be at my great new internship that is hopefully going to become a job. The first weekend of May was great, and I think the whole month will be!

Anyway, now that I'm pretty much done with normal commitments and have three weeks off, I can finally catch up with the blog world. Here's the few pictures I managed to take recently:

my family visited and we found great deals on trench coats (my spring must-have for this year) at Macy's:

city of black & white

My parents bought tickets to see Mat Kearney and Ingrid Michaelson for my sister and I for our birthdays! I've seen Ingrid once before and it was one of the best concerts ever. She is a great performer and an adorable person. Here are a couple pictures:
I'm now listening to Mat Kearney's album City of Black & White and thinking that it's a perfect description of Worcester in winter...a slushy, grey city. This particular video of the title song has great photos:

But, today, it is actually sunny! Here's what I've been wearing lately:

This particular day, I decided to be a little colorful since winter is so blah.

I also wore lots of cute and favorite things this past weekend when my family visited, but I was so busy having fun that I don't have outfit pictures:-)

i really do love new york

A few weeks ago, I went to New York City with my parents to visit my sister and some other family. My sister is pretty much my favorite person and NYC is obviously wonderful. Needless too say, it was fun and lots of pretty things were photographed.

Ready to go!

going out for a nice Italian dinner with family on Friday night (this was also for the black & white weardrobe contest)

My sister and my mom at a wonderful spice booth at a street fair. My sister's (left) hat and purse are great!
