happy bloggiversary!

Okay, so we missed our actually bloggiversary, which was on July 8th. One whole year! I am honestly so proud of us for keeping this blog alive and for even getting some followers (THANK YOU!! WE LOVE YOU!!)

But since we missed celebrating the actual thing, and it's now a month later, Sasha and I are going to post our our favorite of each other's outfits. I chose 15 of Sasha's looks from the past year that I just love. It seems like I really have some favorites of hers, like her blue skirt, her twisty gray top, and her shimmery floral skirt. And for old time's sake, I'm starting with her first ever outfit posted!

I love you Sasha, happy bloggiversary! I know you'll just get more stylish as time goes by.

photos in my new apartment (day 20)

I moved this weekend!

Kind of like a prom or first day of school picture haha.

Comfy, (thanks for the chair, Anna!)

As the challenge gets toward the end (remember that I have a few more outfits that I wore but haven't posted yet), I'm noticing that I am getting more creative and thinking of new outfits, but that I miss my other clothes. Not because I need them to have different outfits, but I like them and I like having options. Especially when my other clothes are sitting, looking pretty, waiting for the challenge to idea.

Posing with Plants is Cool! (Day 19)

I really like plants and I've very happy that it's been a successful gardening summer. I do not know why I decided to pose with the topsy turvy tomato, never the less, day 19:

Off to see what Thursday night holds....first stop, investigating the laundry room at my new apartment:-/

sometimes you need jeans (day 18)

Last week I tripped & fell and skinned my knee. No exciting stories, just me walking and then suddenly my knees fighting with the sidewalk. (The sidewalk always wins). I decided the next day was a perfect example of a necessary jeans day to cover up my ugly knee and for comfort.

I actually really like the outfit :-)

DIY: flowered t-shirt

I had a major DIY urge recently and happening to have an extra extra long gray t-shirt:

Not bad for a cheap tee and the buttons and ribbon available in my apartment, yes?

Back to 30 for 30 posts in a moment, this weekend was very busy since I was moving.

pink & purple

I had another job interview today, which went excellently, and when I got home and had a snack I realized the light in my kitchen around 1pm is lovely!

I just couldn't resist this pose:

I think wearing pink and purple so boldly is my yearn to return to childhood coming out in my wardrobe. When I was a kid, my room was ALL pink. But sometime in 3rd grade everyone decided purple was waaaay cooler and so that was my new favorite color. Needless to say, child-Anna would approve of this outfit. I hope the woman interviewing me did too!

there are probably at least seventeen ways to wear a black v-neck

...this blue tulip skirt, not so versatile, but it has pockets! and I just so happen to have this necklace that matches this outfit o-so-well. Day 17:

Happy weekend everyone!

quinceanera plus 1

Day 16 outfit (chosen because I wanted a break from biking in skirts):

I'm moving this weekend, and I'm not sure if I'm prepared and ready or underestimating what moving everything I own involves. Might be easier if I only owned my 30 choices. Yay for parents & friends who are o-so-nice to help! (I am not getting rid of my dearly loved clothes)

halfway and getting easier?

Day 15, the halfway point! Realistically, I am past this in outfits just not posts. I've also been attempting to wear outfits that are appropriate for biking to work at least sometimes, but on Sunday I move so I will be walking distance, which will give me a few more options. Conclusion: this is a halfway post but the challenge might get easier.

I tried Zumba for the first time tonight - fabulous, fun, and very very sweaty. Laughed a myself a few times, of course, but really really liked it!

neutrals

My friend and I were discussing the other day how much we love neutrals and how they are so popular right now. It's such a nice way to be simple and chic without wearing black.

This picture from The Sartorialist pretty much embodies that. I want the female version of this outfit. Including the sunglasses, please.

You can see another great example of neutrals in Sasha's previous post!
